Oh man story time and a question /jp/

I was playing kancolle in class after I picked it up a month ago, and it turns out the exchange student I sit next to has been playing since it came out. I showed him my kanmusu (Haruna is my flagship) and he kinda smiled and said that I had good taste and was a good TTK even though I wasn't progressing very quick (I'm rank 51 but still haven't beaten 2-4 boss).

Today he showed me his kanmusu and he's a rank 107 with about 14 married ships. His highest-ranked was also Haruna and he showed me all his stuff. I thought it was really interesting that he was using KKV in Japanese and just playing that way (I don't know why I was so surprised by this I guess I thought KKV was only in English or something).

I talked to him about all the cool guys on /jp/ in the english world of Kancolle and how wo-class always gives bad advice in these threads and he kinda thought it was funny. What else should I talk to him about regarding the english-speaking community that plays kancolle (besides porn no lewdness please)?
