A good strategy is to have 1 or 2 characters that you love.
For your 1st lap though the dungeons it's recommended that your A team's Lvs are 2x the map Lv.
2nd lap onwards have only your favorites by 2x Leveled for the harder fights. Everyone else should be the same level and items should give them the boost to win.
Talent is very important.(The left letter rank) It means less EXP to level and can deploy more.

Some good strategies from Widenyo
Have a single character with high defense and high attack be overleveled and over itemed to the point where only wind does more than 1 damage. This character should also have a decent counter rate.
Another is to use a a scapegoat with high defense charge in to distract attackers while high attack ranged allies one-shot enemies from a distance.

If you can't win grind more.
I don't know what the final dungeons are like in this, but if they're anything like Widenyo's you'll need to level a lot.
Screenshot is the toughest dungeon in Widenyo. I needed a Lv400 just to beat one Mad King.
