I'm pretty fond of everyone in the top 40. Everyone past #50 I either don't care about or actually dislike.

People are ranking their favorite characters. That's not the same as rating the "best" or most well-developed characters in the franchise. My list would be very different if I was trying to do the latter rather than the former.

If someone thought Momiji was the coolest-looking character ever and ranked her as their favorite based on that alone, it still wouldn't imply a dislike for any other characters.

I need to get around to playing more of the games.
