Hacking a 1000 or a slim has always been a fairly simple process but there are all sorts of programs out now that converting pandora batteries and downloading CFW is completely mindless.

But seriously, listen to these anons; if you have friends it may be acceptable but still not advised. Don't buy a PSP unless you have a big list of other games you want to try it.

And even then PSP emulators actually are making some progress, in a few months from now there might be a couple games that're actually playable on them.
