As you said, even if it's againt canon, I can see her dying or doing the impossible for her husband, like dunno, fighting against a stronger yōkai, miko or goddes who is against the love of a yōkai and a human.


Then, as you mentioned above, begging Eiki and being reincarnated over and over and finding her husband in each of their reincarnations, having a happy life, seems something plausible or which I would love to see, not just sad or bad endings.
