I don't see why they wouldn't, like I can't imagine something similar in style to Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne failing. I'm not that knowledgeable japanese zoomer tastes, but I don't think girls anywhere ever stopped liking kitsch, whether it's CLAMP, or She-Ra, or W.I.T.C.H., or whatever.
