tried it kinda dropped it after the rumia encounter with lucas and claus, jokes mostly fell flat and had that issue with earthbound fangames were they don't really get the writing, some of the interactions were nice and cute such as aya being the photographer but also most were just fanfic/headcanon tier, the gameplay was fine, just cookie cutter old RPG stuff

long and short is that a guy that pretended to be a contrib/dev came on and started spouting that he wants to include "pranks" that openly spite the player and are outright sadistic like torturing shimmy with cage spiders, having eirin vivisect you as a hourai, really intense bullying of Akyuu among other things. we al told him to eat shit and that all his bad takes were trash.
turned out he actually was a contributer/dev.
turned out he actually got his bullshit in the main game without issue
Turned out there was no QA to prevent nonsense like that in the game
In the end its supposedly behind a toggle but the fact that it got in as is was simply idiotic.
