I also frequently have visual hallucinations of 2D characters, which is quite difficult to explain in that they manage to not appear out of place but are still noticeably 2D and share a likeness with their actual 2D character. Previously, these hallucinations took the form of the members of the SOS Brigade from the Haruhi series, but those characters have stopped appearing one by one, save for Nagato Yuki, who continues to appear in the distance, reading. I posit that the voice I frequently hear is the voice I have imagined for Yuki, and I have noticed that when I hear the voice and see Yuki, she is looking at me rather than reading. Whether or not this is due to her somehow being aware of my hallucination or because the voice is somehow hers is still unknown.

As a result of whatever condition -diagnosed Schizophrenia, but I'm not convinced- I have which causes this hallucinations, I am unable to tell the difference between reality and fiction. As I understand it, my perceptions of reality and fiction are congruent with that of someone of a more stable mind, but I cannot comprehend how they are actually different, although I am aware of the differences due to them being explained to me by various people.
