Finally remembered to try Ore ga Omae wo Mamoru and I can see why it probably didnt do well at all and otomate forte was left to rot.
I understand that simplified fetch quests are supposed to "ease" girls into gameplay but its insultingly bad with slow-down, and boring sometimes damage sponge enemies, there were so many good metroidvanias before this, how did this end up so shitty? The plot and character interaction barely exist too.
I dont know why I'm this surprised or moved to complain post instead of just lurking as usual and I'm sorry.
