e Australians the goodest goyim in the world, /mgg/?

Last night, the Australian government announced that they had abandoned all plans to make the country's federal "hate speech" laws slightly less strict following massive backlash. They also announced sweeping new surveillance and data retention measures along with making it illegal to "support or promote terrorism".

I went on various Australian sites - along with Australian Facebook and Twitter pages - and every single person is celebrating this. Literally every single one. It's filled with "muh diversity", "muh multiculturalism", "muh human rights", "your rights end where my feelings begin", "hate speech is not free speech", etc. Australian "journalists" are celebrating government suppression of speech as well.

Some of the Aussies are even un-ironically thanking the Jews for helping them restrict freedom of speech.
