Ciconia is heavily inspired by Evangelion. In an interview, Ryu said he wanted Ciconia to be EVA-like, meaning you can follow the story and enjoy it to the fullest without actively trying to solve the mystery, but you can also choose to theorize and make conspiracy theories. But aside from that, the themes of the story and the whole "weaponized teenagers with mental illnesses" thing are obviously inspired by it. Not to mention the massive importance of the biblical canon and its prophecies in both stories.

Lilja is interesting because she looks VERY similar to Asuka and has a similar personality too. Her character profile says that the Geroy researchers call her "clay girl". And her name sounds close to "Lilith", Adam's first wife who is a key part of Evangelion's plot. So the "clay girl" thing could mean that she's somehow a stand-in for Lilith, who was made from CLAY just like Adam and eventually rebelled, cucked Adam and gave birth to a bunch of demons. That's when God erased her from the Bible canon, and took one of Adam's ribs to make Eva.

Lilja is Lilith: a human woman made of clay, not a genetic clone subservient to Adam. And Asuka, who looks just like her, eventually becomes the last woman on Earth in EoE and fucks Shinji, the new Adam.

What could all this mean? How do we apply these biblical references to the context of Ciconia? Maybe Lilja is crucial to the pandora plan too? Will Jayden be the Adam? Is Miyao the Eve and that's why Jayden said that he and Miyao "are one flesh"?

Does this mean that the whole story about God and butt cracks is canon to Ciconia? Lewd! Naima is so pathetic, she has the mark! The mark!

I don't know who the first one is, but that's clearly Bernkastel in the middle and Kaji from Evangelion on the right.

Humiliation anon is a modern philosopher.

https://www.benardmakaa.com/nor-wonder-how-i-lost-my-wits-oh-caelia-caelia-caelia-shits/

The upsetting thing about anality is that it reveals that all culture, all man’s creative life-ways, are in some basic part of them a fabricated protest against natural reality, a denial of the truth of the human condition, and an attempt to forget the pathetic creature that man is. One of the most stunning parts of Brown’s study was his presentation of anality in Jonathan Swift. The ultimate horror for Swift was the fact that the sublime, the beautiful, and the divine are inextricable from basic animal functions. In the head of the adoring male is the illusion that sublime beauty “is all head and wings, with no bottom to betray” it. In one of Swift’s poems a young man explains the grotesque contradiction that is tearing him apart:

Nor wonder how I lost my Wits;

Oh! Caelia, Caelia, Caelia shits!

In other words, in Swift’s mind there was an absolute contradiction “between the state of being in love and an awareness of the excremental function of the beloved.”
