A lot of it has to do with a combination of outfit, body type, and behavior (or at least perceived behavior). I will also admit I give more beauty points to long hair than short hair, as much as three of my top five have the latter.

Keine and Eirin, with their hair bonuses, both come across as people that actively attempt to conduct themselves in more-civil-than-normal manners. They also both have outfits that are showy without being flashy. Minoriko and Eiki are the same way, with a lack of a hair bonus counteracted by their positions in the grand scheme of things making them very likely to be particularly kind to those on a level lower than them.

Mystia's outfit screams beauty to me, even if she can be more of a brat than anyone else in that post. The hat, the dress, the shoes, all look wonderful. She also has enough of a mature body to pull off beautiful ahead of plain ol' cute.

Satori has a frilly outfit stitched with quiet elegance and lives in a mansion full of stained glass windows. Classy as hell. I just have to ignore the thalidomide arms and imagine she has bed head when playing SA.

Lunasa has a stoic charm and I think her outfit has a certain grace in its simplicity. Also violin. She may get a subconscious bonus from having a psychotic sister and an ass-ugly sister, though.

I'm not actually sure why I included Nitori and would probably drop her in thinking about it some more.
