A plain-but-elegant character with a plain but elegant name. Attributes such as her western-styled house and traditional European clothing make her easier to relate to on average than other Gensokyo denizens. A plain hairstyle and hair accessories, coupled with fair skin and blue eyes make her design easy on the eyes, thus pleasant to draw, and pleasant to look at.

I think as far as Touhou goes, she's a better character than the average from a design standpoint, but I know nothing of her personality.
