Let me tell you why Saya is still the best VN I have ever played even after all these years.

1. It was short and to the point. It never dragged the story along or needlessly drew the game out for no particular reason. Unlike certain games that spent dozens of hours of cooking, eating chicken sandwiches, or stupid slice-of-life shit.

2. It didn't recycle and reuse shit that has been done a hundred times before with minor changes. It was an interesting and original story, comparatively, to most other VNs.

3. It reached a peak quite early into the game and continued steadily at a high point instead of, again, countless hours of boring shit and then a single climax near the end of the game. It gripped the player early and never let go.

tl;dr Saya will most likely always be the best VN ever made, 10/10

Saya is the best VN in history. No other game will ever match such a well written story, the fascinating characters, and outstanding music and atmosphere. Not to mention it was well paced and great from start to finish. Truly a modern day masterpiece and the only VN i have ever rated 10/10.

Saya, Planetarian, and YMK were my first 3 VNs and a dozen VNs later, they are still my top 3. Seriously, you faggots just hate them because they're popular, but they're popular for a reason.

If MC was born with his twisted perceptions of the world, he wouldn't notice anything wrong. On that logic, whos to say we all don't have a completely different perception of reality than each other? The monsters I have nightmares about could be what you experience as normal everyday people.

What other translated VNs out there are like Saya and Kikokugai? By which I mean dark theme and atmosphere. Not necessarily by Nitro+.

Are the other translated Nitro+ games just as good as Saya?
