You need to watch all sorts of anime, play all sorts of otaku games and play a lot of VNs, and you need to have an inner otaku who yearns for moe-mongering moeshit like Ikamusume or Hyperdimension Neptunia or Arcana Heart.

Also, you need to spend enough time on Danbooru to develop a liking for common otaku kinks: pantsu, shimapan, zettai ryouiki, pettanko, fundoshi, sukumizu, buruma, and panchira. You also need to be into common sexual activities like nakadashi, paizuri, shota, loli, netorare, incest and twincest.
