huh, forgot about her, thanks for reminding me
i also forgot Yuki Yoshizawa came out of retirement to join Madonna too - to little fanfare
>don't like Madonna production very much
sure, the heavily stylised quasi art house cinema vibe paired with heavy drama isn't for everyone but i personally love it. have you given their ACHIJO (ACHJ-) releases a try though?

>>46452779
she seems happy enough running the freelance circuit
she doesn't work with Madonna much now which is a shame but they're already pumping out 40 releases a month so maybe it's hard to fit in anymore freelancers

>>46452971
Chisato's honestly still hustling way too hard to be tied down with exclusivity kek she still does 2-3 movies a month

i personally see quite a lot of vinegar but still secondary to the miso of course
someone like Miki Yamase (formerly Nozomi Mikimoto) might be vinegar-mayo

i'd love to help but will need some more context on your preferences or at the very least what you don't like
your question is basically like going to a restaurant and asking "anything tasty?"

anyone else also find lip-licking really erotic? Nao Jinguji does it a lot before, during, and after blowjobs and it's really great -- like she's really anticipating/enjoying/savouring the chi〇po flavour

aww yiss, been looking forward to this one ever since Chisato and Yurika (and maybe producer Tomoko-san too?) shared these behind-the-scenes pictures on twitter
expecting good things but i'm also surprised they filmed this with the old dudes in the later scene(s)

It depends... I have in the past and will sometimes help if I'm personally interested in the actress or think the process of finding her won't be too difficult.
Obviously I'm not as good at it so if she's a loli or whatever you're definitely better off asking for the more relevant department instead. I can put you through to switchboard

>how they even managed
probably just money though it's worth noting most big names don't participate in those types of productions anymore. there was a bit of a crackdown shortly after Ryoko's time

>top
>would you mind sharing
of course! but bear in mind that i say top 15 in the loosest sense - it's unordered and a very informal mental list that honestly changes all the time. most of them are hags (an affectionate term we use for mature women here) but there are a few that aren't:
>Maki Hojo
>Reiko Seo
>Reiko Kobayakawa
>Rena Fukiishi (technically retired but occasionally appears in uncensored stuff)
>Ryoko Murakami (retired)
>Aki Sasaki (retired)
>Momoko Isshiki
>Nao Jinguji
>Aika Yamagishi
>Akari Mitani
>Julia
>Ai Sayama
>Kokomi Sakura (retired)
>Yurika Aoi

>recs
rather than giving recommendations for all of them, i think it's a better idea if let me know of any in particular you're interested in and i'll share with ya
alternatively, if you're looking for more mature women who might have a similar vibe to Ryoko, i can offer some more names too
>Reiko Nakamori (retired)
>Miki Yamase (formerly Nozomi Mikimoto) (sporadic releases)
>Aoi Aoyama (retired)
>Ayaka Makimura (retired)
>Shiho Terashima (retired)

consider this outline that a condiment scholar has been developing >>/jp/thread/43974493#p43980204

it's still WIP as sirs continue to debate the intricacies. note that this stems from an existing framework apparently devised by the Japanese to describe certain archetypal appearances and facial characteristics

for me,
>Vinegar
relates to a visual/aesthetic ASTRINGENCY. it doesn't mean someone who perpetually has a "sour" look but her features have a general sharpness

>Miso
relates to a visual/aesthetic PUNGENCY. it doesn't just mean someone who's tanned but more like a really strongly distinctive quality

can't wait for that harem title to come out. I think Chisato predicts an Autumn release for it (it's with Moodyz which is completely unexpected + it looks like they even got Tomoko onboard as producer which can only mean good things)

I'm a fan but I don't really "follow" too many of their exclusives besides Nao and Nozomi. They do bring a good selection of freelancers onboard though but as a whole, I don't feel too attached or even particularly aware of their wider roster and, by extension, the studio. I'm sure their other talent are exceptional too but most of them just don't appeal to my more mature tastes so this isn't a complaint and more of an observation.
As a whole, I really do mostly have good things to say about the studio. With Moodyz, you're getting the benefits of a big mainstream studio like output, polish, etc but they're still just quirky enough to push the envelope and also be "entertaining" rather than being pornographic in a purely one-dimensional sense. I'm talking about modern Moodyz btw; old Moodyz was actually pretty hardcore and often pushed the envelope in a different, much more deliberately shocking way. Nowadays, there's more of a charming fun factor without going into Rocket levels of absurdity. I think they're the most imaginative and creative out of the big studios.

>>43720860
Why do you hate Madonna? Let's talk it out, sir. Is it the over-reliance of ongoing series? One thing I really like about Moodyz is they seem more ready to push out standalone releases, sometimes without any expectation of it becoming a series. This usually means much more bespoke titles essentially made for an actress that really take advantage of her individual characteristics and USP. The Madonna approach one of consistency which allows actresses shine within the parameters of an existing series; we get to see how each brings something unique to the table but this is still different to Moodyz more maximally exploring actresses' individuality. I have noticed Madonna pushing some more standalone stuff recently but we'll see how it goes.

>>43720810
Can't wait to see what this Moodyz collaboration between Reiko, Chisato, Yuriko, and Miki is going to be about. Based Tomoko for apparently producing this in the first place

>>43721512
Do we think she's a future great or is she already a legend? I'm thinking legend, she has such an iconic face and if someone was completely new to hag JAV, she would be one of the first I'd recommend

>>43721523
Her unique miso looks have always been strong but I agree that there's something more now that her ripeness is unquestionable. I also find her more elegant nowadays. Her features are still strong obviously but they've mellowed a bit with age

>>43721666
Thank you, Satan. Very cool!

PS
when a hag is between categories and/or displays traits from a number of designations, that's when compound labels come into play like Semi-Classic (Reiko Kobayakawa), Pseudo-Quasi (Ai Sayama), Pseudo-Semi, etc.

My interpretation is slightly different.

For me, /jav/ is essentially a hobby forum. It doesn't work as a coomer image dumping thread because it's SFW. It's not really a file sharing hub either since most JAV is pretty accessible and so it's only the rare stuff that gets requested/uploaded; such cases are naturally few and far between. When you think of /jav/ as a hobby forum, a lot of the conventions make a lot of sense. It's not too dissimilar to people talking enthusiastically about music or cinema or anything else that can generate a long-term following. Besides debut and retirement, the vast majority of "news" comes in the form of the weekly preview/release schedule across a range of studios every month. So, discussion naturally gravitates towards the actual engagement with the medium and sometimes even deeper, conceptual matters rather than simply gossiping about the latest updates and peripheral goings-on (though there is some of that too).

The quasi-community aspect also means the culture of recommendations serves multiple purposes. Yes, there may be some inherent ulterior motive to "shape" the community either in terms of instating some vague pecking order or, more generally, influencing the flow of conversation(s) as a whole. A less cynical view might just be that in sharing and promoting certain topics, their proponents can grow the following within the community and enjoy more sustained discussion over time and with more participants. There may be an even simpler explanation with posters brimming with enthusiasm for something and earnestly wanting to share it with others without any further agenda. This is made all the more possible in the context of anonymity and no simulated reward system in place beyond heartfelt (You)s and the opportunity to muse about topics you actually want to talk about with like-minded sirs.

As for the thread prevalence of hags, this is directly the result of hagchads leveraging the ideas I discuss above. In doing so, not only do existing fans of hags find it easier to both initiate and sustain conversation with an ever-growing body of in-jokes, references, and general culture of friendliness and helpfulness, the genre has accordingly been introduced to those unfamiliar with the joys of mature women as well. This has been conducted in a manner which makes it exceptionally easy to commence enjoyment through extensive, bespoke recommendations and a more systematic approach to the vague industry label of "mature woman" which delineates and caters to every taste far better than the existing infrastructure. This, in turn, means hagchad recruits can rapidly gain a more sophisticated understanding and start participating in discussions about hags also. This process then self-perpetuates.

We don't see hagposting in every thread because it was never about oppression or supremacy and, sometimes, there isn't too much talk about without someone taking the initiative to provide a good "hook". But, when relevant topics do emerge, you can count on some very interesting discussion indeed...
