Instruments would require actual wood, not some shitty pinetree bark. Pinetree bark is great for comfy "woodwork" because it's soft. Everything serious requires real wood though.

Yes. Dry food doesn't rot easily. This is why in case of crisis you stock up dry food besides conserves.
It didn't taste as good as fresh ones, but fresh ones aren't best either. Few days old snacks are best. A bit less crunchy, more "gummy" if I can call it that way.

Also few days old, stale bread is pretty good. Crunchy without too much salt like snacks.

Basically if it isn't rotten, doesn't stink, doesn't have mod on it, you eat it to not waste food.
