You're kind of right honestly. Her and Lancer are definitely shipped together, but their dynamic still doesn't have a proper closure after their fight. That's because Nasu was more focused on characterizing her and her themes and dynamic with Angra in HA, so I don't believe he hates her, but he didn't write that aspect of her story as well as he could have. I have copium that she'll own Kotomine in FGO and it'll make people finally stop mocking her for "jobbing" to him.
