Hey /jp/ sorry if this has been asked before but, anyone recommend any good learning Japanese texts?
I'm currently trying to learn Japanese independently and would like to know if /jp/ recommends any texts to learn Japanese from. Textbooks, workbooks, PC programs, websites, etc.
I'm trying to learn Japanese as a hobby and to read light novels, VNs, manga, anime, etc. Currently after an hour or 2, I've memorized the 46 basic hiragana from just rote memorization.

I've taken a look at "Remembering the Kana" (since it was linked on AJATT) and didn't like it at all due to the wordiness and the layout of the book itself.
I haven't read too much on AJATT because there seems to be a lot of walls of texts and I don't know where to begin from.
I'm currently looking at acquiring textbooks such as "Genki: An integrated course in Elementary Japanese" and "Japanese the Manga Way"

TL;DR: Any good Textbooks, workbooks, PC programs, websites, etc. to learn JP from? / Have any tips for learning JP?
