I don't agree.

With the PS3, Sony made a huge mistake in terms of game advertising. Because of this, many good games were released, and continued to remain, under the radar and didn't receive the amount of sales they would have if they had been advertised properly.

Point being - a product is nothing without real advertising.
You can never advertise to much. The PV's aren't bad, and any extra funds that can be put towards advertising is key.

Fans don't just stay, many move on - so you have to continually bring in consumers with advertising to make up for the constant fluctuations in numbers. (I'm talking casual fans, not wota)
