Chapter 6 opens on Tohya and Ikuko discussing the first twilight, with Tohya trying to solve it before the story's Battler can, as he didn't feel anything when Battler suffered. He spirals, eventually needing to be calmed down by Ikuko. They're doing this for his sake, she tells him. Cut to the gameboard, Rosa, Maria and Gohda have just arrived at the mansion and heard the news. Gameboard Battler is sick of the situation and states Kinzo should just come down and stop playing around with bullshit of magic and witches. Eva agrees and says they should meet with Kinzo, to which Natsuhi says they should leave him alone because he's in the safest room in the house. Eva exclaims that his husband and child were just murdered, and Natsuhi responds that so were hers.

Regarding Riyu:
"This person has reasons of his own to defeat the witch."

First Twilight:
"Nanjo confirmed the deaths of all six people. There's no way he would mistake the status of a dead body."
