On the extreme offchance that any sirs ever take it upon themselves to share some VR with other sirs, I offer some knowledge from the ancient ones w/r/t making "proper" thumbnail sheets for VR titles. AMT/Auto Movie Thumbnailer - as old and stinky as it is, is still a very versatile tool.
You can somewhat mitigate its stinkyness by dropping in a newer/different mplayer build. It'd be nice if the author re-wrote/updated it to just use an x64 mpv-2.dll/mpv.exe instead of mplayer, but it is what it is. Don't keep it running, even in the tray, if you are not actively using it. It has some kind of GDI handle leak, and will fuck your desktop up. You'll know when it happens, because when you try to close AMT afterwards, it won't be able to render its own "do u really want to quit oniichan?" dialog box, forcing you to kill it from Task Manager, or if even that is now too far gone, with "taskkill /im /f AMT.exe"

Go to the Settings panel, and "Unlock" the optional arguments. You want to force it to crop the image to only show the left eye:
>no code blocks on /jp/
>can't remember if SJIS blocks will work properly for code in a pinch or fuck things up...
>Connection error while posting.
Fuck you gookmoot. https://pastebin.com/dmgD6Njk

I'm fairly certain those are the default arguments, but with 1-2 changes. If in doubt, just copy the entire "set" I am using. This is the important part:
>-vf-pre "crop=2048:2048:0:0"
Because this is 4096x2048 video. It's cropping the right 2048 out, and it is not resizing it. If it were e.g. 5120x2560, you'd want to use "crop=2560:2560:0:0". Simple enough.

>Why?
Having "both eyes" in a VR thumbnail sheet is a waste of fucking pixels.

If it's super old, stanky 3D TB 360 video, at e.g. 2160x2160, you can use "crop=0:0:1080:1080" instead. For 2144x2144, you'd want "crop=0:0:1072:1072". Use your 8th grade math skillz.

On the "Layout" pane, I also have it set to "Resize Thumbnails" to 512x512. If it were the aforementioned 3D TB 360 video, you'd want to use...uhhhhhhh. 540x270 to stick with the same 1:4 downscale, or 512x256. Anything as long as it's 2:1.

If you run into issues, I can share my exported AMT.db settings with the full blackout, etc. You'll probably have to override the font, as well as the temporary directory I have set, unless you've got an "R:" drive, and have IBM Plex Mono installed. I think it's just an SQLite DB...I'll edit it beforehand myself.

ミ The more you know. ミ

>Where's the amt.cc watermark? Surely, you didn't pay for this shit too.
No, I did not. Save as PNG. Then you can plaster over the watermark and make it a JPG yourself afterwards, kek.

P.S. I do have the "VR Photoalbums" that came with these, but I didn't want to include them in the torrents because even a title just being split into multiple MP4s is enough to make the torrent junk a few months down the line. If anyone wants them, I can upload them as catbox albums or something. Just ask. You don't REALLY get anything you can't already see in the videos themselves, other than 1-2 extra shots of each girl on cheesy 3DCG backgrounds, and in general the JPGs they provided are higher quality than the videos themselves.

I bought them during the Golden Week sale. Seemed fitting.

Damn right.
