It's dangerous because there's no support. You're entirely at the mercy of your own balance, which is all fine and good until you happen to make a slight misstep and end up with a foot the looks like a golf club.

If the stilts went the other way you still have the same issue, depending on the width of the stilt. I still think you should make proper geta.
