Not all athletic people, just competitive athletes who'd want to maximize their attributes. For someone who just wants to be fit and healthy, it's possible that she just eats hearty.

A nice layer of fat is very healthy and provides additional energy. She wouldn't have DD MELONS but she'd have a respectable breast size.
