There's a reason why you never see it used at full power in the real world, as it would end any story. In fact there's tons of properties from the some characters in Nasu works that you never see in action for this very reason, as shit would get stupid quick.

Also the tone and setting of Fate/Stay Night made it clear from the get-go that the power leveling was going to be raised a little bit and it fit the new setting it was going for, which has nothing to do with super imposing higher power ceilings on an already existing story like Tsukihime which previously had smaller leveling, which was what anon was complaining about. This isn't a new story, this is a story we are already familiar with.

This is also ignoring the fact that a major criticism you often see of F/SN is that it's fights are power level bullshit, but that's a totally different discussion
