I hate it when I have some ideas to incorporate in a story, I write down the gist of it and decide to write down all of it when I have time, only to find when I get back to it that I no longer remember what the idea was exactly about.

Anyone else know this feel?

Are you truly devoted to 2D? I mean really?
Because it seems to me that there is a distinction between people who prefer their characters in 2D only and the people who want to bring them to the real world. I am talking about figurines, dolls, dakimuras, and the like. I personally find this irritating (so I consider myself ``true 2D'', for a lack of better term, by my categorization) but I have come to accept that there is a large part of otaku in general and /jp/sies also really like, to put it bluntly, stuff they can touch.
I don't mean to patronize or offend anyone but I feel like this a fundamental and overlooked question that should be debated.

I've decided that, as of right now, I'm leaving the forums. I have been toying with the idea for a while, but have never understood why. I have never had a concrete enough reason to leave. It's unfortunate, but now I do: I've just outgrown the forum, and I've outgrown the majority of you - with the exception of a bunch of people who know exactly who they are when I say this. I don't really give a f*ck if this post is passed over or ignored - the people who matter will read it and, well, I don't know what, really. I have better ways to invest the limited free time I have. I'm not going to hang around waiting for praise or criticism - I've been doing that for 60 months now and have f*ckall to show for it.

I'm still going to visit 4chan so I can keep in touch with the people that matter. As for the rest of you, well, it's been fun, but it stopped being fun a long time ago and only now am I realising that I should have taken that as a sign to get the f*ck out.
