Feminism in its western incarnation is mainly a byproduct of capitalism. Industrialists want women to work a job instead of caring for her children all day, so they put out a bunch of propaganda about "female emancipation" and all that jazz, and proclaiming that "sexual liberation" is better than having a family life is part of that.

It's the same as with mass-immigration. Those people are allowed to come here or even brought here (as in Germany's Gastarbeiter program https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastarbeiter ) because the capitalists who bribe our politicians want more consumers and more pressure on the job market so that they can afford to pay their workers lower wages and offer poorer, less expensive work conditions at the job. But most people would oppose mass-immigration if they understood these motivations, so instead the mass-media will just tell you some gobbledy-gook about human rights and whatnot.
