Wasn't that the point, tho? Sakura's sexuality is explicitly painted with such dark tones almost all the way through. It's not a fanservice scene first and foremost even if kinda-sorta titillating the reader and making him feel weird about it is a part of the scene. Kind of like an alternative take on the femme fatale trope, who are meant to be both very sexual and very dangerous and more often than not villainous.
