All you need to know is that for the time he was in the threads he basically lived grinding, and since he had slayed the gods before he decided to challenge himself by doing it all again, plus reach the level of the void where monster scaling caps, on loss mode.
I guess I could see you thinking he was an npc though. Another anon made challenge levels using the showroom for him, with plot that centered around people trying to kill him for killing all the gods and making Yacatect run his store.

I just mentioned the guild as an extra point. I just really don't like the spell stock system. Power to people that do though.
