So I loved the first part of Sumaga that was translated and was pretty pissed when I found out that they were stopping translation because of JAST USA buying the writes to Nitro+ title localizations and what not.
Anyway that was like 2 years ago so I think we can safely say Sumage won't be fully translated any time soon by them or any other fan group.
I have a decent grasp of the Japanese language so I wanted to take a shot at my own little translation project as a learning experience and potentially something to give back to the community should I actually make any real progress.
I did a little research and found this
http://forums.novelnews.net/showthread.php?t=35621
A program to extract the nss.npa files that hold the game script. Only problem is I can't seem to get that working.

so tl;dr can anybody give me some help towards getting started on this?

ABSOLUTELY FUCKING SHIT.

Characters with stupid names. Really, Spica? Garnet? Mira? Aridead?

Horrible pacing.

Fanfiction like writing in some places.

Main character is a Gary Stu. He walked into a terrorist's mouth, talked to a bitch and flied out.

Fuck this VN.

TakaJun reviews Sumaga and gives it 4/10. How does that make you feel?

As requested, Takajun reviewed Sumaga.

>One line plot summary:
>The main character has the ability to take a revenge at life after he dies, and uses the ability to try to reach a happy ending.

>Story: 4/10
>They had a good idea, but totally ruined it in the execution. First of all, everything about it was too convenient. Yes, there’s a reason for it, but most of the story felt too forced. Some plot was completely ignored in other scenarios while some were added in others (like limited ressurection). And since the story is a repetition of the same events, events got boring after a while. I hate it how the basic story doesn’t change that much no matter what you do or which girl you go after. And what killed the story was the mix of comedy and serious action. It tried to do both, and failed in both of them. They would add comedy to serious scenes, so the scene would become non-serious, and since it also tried to be serious, I found the comedy to be really out of place. The actions aren’t hot either like in previous Nitro+ games.
