You've been noticing Marisa a lot more recently. Of course, it's hard not to notice her, with her been as subtle as burning fireworks factory, but it seemed like you were running into her every day now. She always had an excuse for her to tag along with you or something or you to do with her. It was like she thought she would die if she was separated from your side. You learned to just go along with it, as saying no just meant she would go along with you anyway in her pushy style.

Today, she had invited herself to tag along as you went out shopping and followed you home to help you unpack. As you waited for her to leave, she pulled a small box from her dress. "Ah hey, I found these herbs that are supposed to help with your mental state, but I need a blind test to make sure they work. Could you please test them for me? I'll owe you" she gives you a pleading look. It seems harmless enough. You tell her to go ahead and she prepares some hot water to put the herbs in, placing the cup in front of you. Giving the contents a cautious glance and sniff as the magician stares expectantly you over. Then you gulp it down.

You feel a strange warmth enter your body as you feel very happy all of a sudden. The happiest you ever remember being in a long time. Marisa's face gets close to yours, studying you. You know, you never realized how beautiful she was until now. "You feeling alright there? Why don't you raise your arms" What a great idea! She's so smart. You raise your arms for her. She nods. "Now say, 'Marisa, you're so cute' ". Of course you'll say it, that's so obvious now! As you repeat it, a faint blush forms on her face. "Now get up, you're following me home" You raise from your seat and follow her. You're sure it's all going to work out!
