Given that it is impossible to control MVP with just 2 slots and having the need to level multiple destroyers at once I tried to put a little spin on usual flag+BB+saiun+3DD leveling method. I found it somewhat more effective.
Essentially it's the same, you're still using five 3DD teams rotating them once they get fatigued. But you're leveling 3 ships at once compared to former 1. You're also spending nearly thrice as less resources per sortie. Not getting S rank all the time hurts, but in the long run you'd spend much more resources for the same exp with BB+saiun. Bucket consumption is worse though, as much as 7~8 buckets per hour. MVP swings widely, but it's not like you could control it in the first place with only 2 slots to work with. Giving rotation teams holo+common combo(it's enough to sink gold sub in all formations but red T, by the way) and giving leveling ships both holos with stars on top of it biases MVP towards leveling ships, Don't expect any wonders, leveling ships are always at 0 fatigue, have low levels and usually orange to boot. On a bright side, it takes less time to finish battle animation with only 1 shelling phase, and given that you don't need to monitor flag's fatigue you spend less time on sortie. Sort by ship type also helps immensely to shave off time it takes to switch in new team.
~12k EXP/hour for flag plus whatever others get for negligible sortie cost is a far cry from E5 sub nodes, but still very decent. Certainly much more efficient compared to usual BB+saiun set-up, if only little more time consuming.
