Imagine instead of wasting shit in FGO, it was a story of a homunculus girl tutored by King Solomon as human and explored the morality of mages who took his former teachings and is about changing that monolith institution with Team A as sort of revolutionaries. Grail War being just a background for Roman's story.

Now the movie is out. Gudao didn't take down a Beast. He faced Goetia only when he was completely depowered as a human (like reviews said he didn't even use magic attacks as the anime) after he was in the verge of death and suddenly became boosted by Dantes (probably his second NP which resurrects almost dead allies and ranks out their parameters) along with Mashu's super protection willpower Shield she left behind.

Nier illustrator poster, by the way. Much better than the other one.
