Its really not profitable to do anime on unreal anon
ArcSys had to mod the fuck out of U3 to get that and the animation process has to be done frame by frame by hand, its almost harder than doing 2D animation by hand
The first version of their custom U3 also did not support dynamic camera angles because the models had to be stretched like hell to look good in a single angle (I have no idea how they fixed this because their GDC talk and all the material they released during SIGN showed that it was the nature of how they were working, but with Rev2 you can have full camera control on the model viewer and none of the poses warp the models out of the designed angle for said pose, its nuts and I really wish they talked about how they managed to do this)
Also how the fuck would you 3D rig a model that doesnt have bones to be animated?
