They should be able to learnt o use anthropomorphosis like any other monster, but they also have the basic ability to retract the sword into a gauntlet form. Though I think the closest we have to official art of what this looks like is this sprite from Exet's game.

Moreover, cursed swords started out with a singular origin (a previous mamono lord created them all), and thus there were a limited number of them. Then Lilith sealed them away in various places just in case they were still dangerous (I like to think she was motivated to do this after the tentacle plants proved to still be dangerous).

And given current cursed swords apparently reproduce without parasitizing existing people (the mother gets pregnant and gives birth to a humanoid baby who is already a cursed sword), it makes me think that the number of original cursed swords that exist as just a sword must go down every time one of the remaining ones finds a host.

In other words, the day is coming when the cursed swords that are still just swords will be the rarest of items around.

Its just pixel art, but once she starts having sex with her companion you can see the sword has merged into her arm (which now looks thicker) and her left arm has also transformed (which may be unrelated).
