rap can be sophisticated
but of course not all rap is

but maybe its supposed "lack of sophistication" is why Patchy may like it or be drawn to it. Or why artists tend to pair her with an admiration for it, a cute juxtaposition to her normal "bookish" self

As a proud secondary who has terrible reflexes and panics too easily I am unable to play the games, even on easy. So I stuck to reading everything, and you should too! I've read all the dialogue scripts from the games, every single comic, every bit of synopsis I could get my hands on, and even Japanese myths and legends to get better background information on the time period and the references in the games.

It's a wonderful and rich universe and I don't feel the games should be any barrier towards familiarizing yourself with it.

Its depressing looking through some of those old threads and seeing how much more fun/less intensely shitty /jp/ used to be.

Patchouli is the library, why else is her title Great Unmoving Library.
It's like a magic version of the usual sci-fi library with its unaging robotic/holographic servants.

That could describe dozens, if not hundreds of tea stores across at least three continents.

There are any numbers of reasons why your brew might not have come out great, but... what exactly is a filter bag?

I'm wondering if I should just make a new thread. Only one person has come to the IRC so far, and he wasn't even one of the posters in this thread.

Sorry, I probably should have clarified. My toilet is across the house from my computer, so it's simply more efficient to piss in my empty bottles. I could move my computer closer to my toilet, but then I'd have to connect to the internet via wireless, which makes it harder to play Tera.

I was considering this, but I really don't care much for sweet drinks like soda, unfortunately. It makes me fat.

I'm not sure, I'm no matcha expert, but if you aren't dissolving it completely, then I would imagine it would taste nasty. But if you are dissolving it properly (you don't technically 'need' a bamboo whisk, it just gives you weeaboo street cred), and it still tastes lousy, then you probably have old/lousy matcha.

What I know about matcha is this: it's one of those things that isn't worth it unless you get the really good stuff. Otherwise I wouldn't suggest anyone bother, unless you want to use the cheaper stuff for baking and making smoothies, which you don't need 'ceremony-grade' for.

Gensokyo is all nice and pleasant.

Except for SDM, and their fate-manipulating mistress of blood. No way would a magician read books for a 100 years; a gate guard eternally sleeping (or not) at the entrance; and a human willingly serving her. SDM is truly terrifying.

An orgasm and a weeping, violated Patchouli, duh. An anti-magic charm should've been enough - how is anybody supposed to guess that an anemic bookworm has a nasty left hook?
