It's funny people say this yet HF itself says that Shirou should be able to use UBW in 10 years and lives with a Rider and is even hinted that Rin would want the all to enter a tournament and win money fighting in it. It's not about this at all. It's more about Shirou being reborn to his original self that doesn't have Kiritsugu's programming that he was given at the start of his new life in the fire. Shirou is literally reborn as someone who discards that baggage and proclaims that his original ideal is to protect the ones that he loves over being an ally of justice. UBW is about him following that ideal/programming and continuing to follow his father's ideal even if it isn't his own. It's about a fake ideal become real by Shirou following it to the end of his life. HF is about Shirou's true ideal being manifest and his real desires as a human over his idealistic/robotic self. It's obvious Nasu is going for an ending that has his robotic nature change into a more human one as he's able to live for himself and the ones he loves over trying to protect all those that he sees that are crying. That's part of what HF is about for Shirou. Shirou is also at his most heroic/strongest in HF so it goes for the chunni power fantasy too so your whole post is wrong.

Shirou looks cool as fuck here. I also like the new jacket Ufotable gave him. I love that he takes off the jacket and wears his old VN look with the baseball blue shirt and jeans when using UBW against Gil. Also against Archer.

The way this CG is built up after seeing EMIYA's back when he acts like a hero/talks to Shirou is brilliant. Seeing Shirou surpass him and hold that mantle since no one else will was kino.

The use of Archer's back in the VN is so fucking good. To the first time you see in Fate to HF when Shirou finally surpasses Archer and that back to him now showing his back to Illya. He is now someone that must protect others and become a hero to those like Archer used to be. Fucking kino.
