In the age of social media, most people genuinely do not care. People actually come up to me pretty often to ask about them when I'm out taking photos, most people just seem to find it interesting that such big dolls exist, or want to ask about the process of taking photos with them. If people see you with props and a camera (or even a phone,) they seem to generally assume it's something business related -- at least in my experience.

Unfortunately that's the only one I know of who does custom printing, too- I wonder how hard it is? My mother used to make screen-printed shirts to sell back in the 90s... I wonder if there's a way to miniaturize the process? I'm sure there is, because people are out there making doll clothes in their etsy basement. Something to google later, I think. I'd love to be able to make my own doll shirts, if for no other reason than the fun of it.

That's very kind of you, thanks anon! I have some laying around, I'm a pretty frequent poster in this thread. My instagram is lunaraffe, as well.

I've come a long way as well, too- my first doll photos were abject shit. I still have a lot to work on, but I can say I've improved for sure.

This is legit. Get the doll you want, not the one that's cheapest. You're going to be sinking an obscene amount of money into this hobby one way or the other, even if you're thrifty (and I try to be,) it still adds up over time.
