Is there a term for someone who doesn't want sex, doesn't care for sex, and never will? I would like to know such a term to describe myself and thought maybe other neets on /jp/ would feel the same way and know the proper word.

I'm working on this project and I appear to be having some English problems.

here is the sentence I'm stumped on.
一日遅れのあ誕生プレゼントなんて、うれしくもなんどのないわよ。
Oh What a birthday present a day late, and many times I have had the pleasure.(thats what i gathered from this sentence)

it kinda makes sense because they where talking about him being late before.

what would you guys suggest i do for the English sentence?

It's not another weeaboo-freak thread, it's srs business this time.
I'm about to study in Japan. Take a tourist trip in april, visit the university, bring all the papers and apply.
I'm sure about my mathematical/techincal knowledge to pass the exams, my english is good (hope so, lol) and my japanese is almost average.
What I need is your experience/advices. Where can I get info on governmental scholarship and other support, and can I account on it? It there any issues? Do the universities give some time for adaptation?
Sharing your expirience would be great.

I'm going into my third semester of Japanese at my local college. We use the Yookoso textbooks and I have just finished the first book.

There is a trip to japan at the end of the semester and I want to be ready.

How and what would you suggest that i study and do before that time? Is there a weekly schedule any of you have set up for yourselves while learning? Japanese has been giving me a lot of trouble, far more than french, spanish, and dutch did....

So i just graduated college and I'm thinking of taking up an opprotunity my professor offered me. He said that I can go to Japan for 6 months to be a tutor in the city and it will be all expense paid but I also don't get paid anything, just a small stipend. But food and housing and transportation are taken care of. OF course i'll bring money saved up if i do go, im not going to be a poor fuck.

But he told me its in tokyo and i was wondering, if i do take up this offer, what will my general expereince be?

I don't know japanese, I am half white and half hispanic. Will i get tons of japanese pussy? Will people marvel at my non-japanese eyes? Will I be shunned completely with no friends aside other american teachers for 6 months?

I've been wondering why everyone calls the place Japan and the residents Japanese. When the the people residing there call it Nihon and not Japan and call themselves Nihonjin and not Japanese.

I think this is a pretty legitimate question. I believe I read that it was actually a mistranslation in the 16th century or something but I could be wrong.

Has Anonymous ever studied abroad in Japan? Or anywhere, for that matter? I'm thinking of doing so next spring. What should I expect?

Also, as I can't go trough my own university I've been looking into going through one of the more popular American student dumps in Tokyo (Temple University). Any info on that would also be very appreciated.
