11 hits total + proximity assist.
You probably need to(attempt to) debuff enemy with gravity to reliably hit with criticals, though. Also, critrate wont go above 50% no matter what you do, it seems.
Not sure about max critrate, too easy to misunderstand formula from wiki's eye of mind page
