Anyway, was or is, Kasen definitely has connection to Suika, and anyone who play dumb by asking "what does the hermit has to do with the oni" need to reevaluate their life.

I mean it's when fan-content become less varied, or worse it become the same thing over and over.
Maybe it won't be that bad, but you know just like how people are against official Touhou anime and voice acting because it ruins personal interpretations that compose the fandom etc etc, since gacha by big company would have bigger influence than some fan-anime by music circle or group of free animators, I think it's kinda justified to be worried with such things.
