Now that you think about her old H!P audition, she or her parents probably opted out of it for some reason (too awesome for H!P, couldn't negotiate good enough contract for her, or they didn't want to move to Tokyo). It was never said that she was dropped from the audition by the management, so it could well be that she or her parents chose not to go further with it.
