I didn't order anything since January except pre-order on Griffon's Remilia which was pretty impulsive by me, now I'm not sure if I really want her.

Anyway. Not a single interesting figure since January for me. What the flying fuck? Well I skipped perfect Dizzy, but I never played GG and I don't buy figures with unknown personalities and I also was empty this month.
But still. So many crap and so tiny chance to get something high quality, you could wait forever for that.
While Griffon is making one figure after another every month, top tier studios like Alter and GSC are too slow on making superb figs.

Oh yeah, I didn't comment on the eye because I couldn't see it properly from the pic, but if that's really it than it's another big strike.

Her cannon still bothers me. I haven't seen any pools and I don't really care for them, for me the figure should follow the cannon or else I feel like I'm buying something else entirely. In fact I wasn't even sure that was Okuu until I read your post, this is what happens when the product deviates a lot from the original.

Again her powers don't really have to be a danmaku but Utsuho is a character that draws a lot from her abilities, it should have some sort of impact on the overall fig. Like this Remilia fig. Now Griffon doesn't make the best figs and we've all seen how QUALITY their stuff can get, but this is one of the best Touhou figs out there simply because it shows more than just a pretty pose, it shows her actually attacking and one of her main weapons. It helps a lot to express her overall character.

Now comparing something like that with a GK might be a bit unfair, but I've seen some pretty awesome GKs around here before, and you did ask what I thought of it.
