gotta say I agree with you. the first two chapters/parts/whatever were pretty nice because the writing is nice, you laugh at the protag but you kinda root for him too, there's a sense of foreboding but you think maybe it's gonna be interesting. and then the third part drops and it's just a perspective shift and cookie-cutter blackmail shit. honestly there's been zero interesting stuff here so far. sure you can get off to the animated scenes, but the moment this blackmail stuff started was the same moment the characters went from being fleshed out, subtle characters to cardboard cutouts
