I'm a tanned girl and honestly I'm sick of being seen as slutty by default. The whole pale=pure dark=impure idea comes from early christianity and is especially prevalent in primarily white christian communities who see dark skin in real life so rarely that it's even exotic. So often you get white christian men who seek to "sin" for the thrill and just automatically assume a dark skinned girl would oblige because they are such "sexual creatures".

Well you know what? Dark skin is just that, a dark skin tone. We're all still human beings.
