The thing is that iqdb only checks "gallery" sites. Sauce checks the most common gallery sites (dan/gel/sankaku) but also checks art sites like pixiv, DA, e621, and even sadpanda (without a link, gotta look it up yourself).

I think there's a couple galleries that iqdb checks that sauce doesn't however, so it's worth checking if sauce turns up nothing.

Combine these two tags and you filter the total number of results to around 70, instead of 400+ (though there's actually over a thousand if you were using sad panda proper instead of a shitty mirror). Instead, you failed at combing over hundreds of results without a discerning enough eye to recognize the artist's style on a cover that still appears on the first page of most chronologically sorted search results.
