She wouldn't be hiding it so much as taking advantage of Earth's lack of experience with her people. But to your credit, she is well aware of the fact that even on Earth just being a Dragon at all has a reputation, albeit a different one.

I agree. The way I intend to get around it is by her being a literal tank with her armor and physiology only being affected by other Mamano or stuff that can be outplayed consistently.
Furthermore, any beat-downs would come to evil humans or non-Mamano intelligent lifeforms taking it. Even then, death and injury is a very loose term, and more of a way to take characters out of action temporarily than anything else.
