Just beat E-5, what a horrible map on par with Fall E-5. I find fall E-4 much harder with the escape mechanic though.

Anyway towards the end I gave in to superstition and double sparkled my fleet, went from retreating to suddenly hitting the boss node almost all the time. I also went line aboob for the 2nd and 3rd node. Thanks to the anon who suggested that and good luck to everyone who hasn't cleared it.
