I think you are definitely more opened minded than others around here but I get angry when I here the, because its not Ai-chan I will not be paying attention to it or even watch it comments, which you know you do.

And to be clear I am not condemning either approach in their true essence but I am merely point out specific issues I notice from the one idol only focus people.

I'll use the performance example again, when you are literally going out of your way to focus on just one person on stage while openly demonstrating that you are not even paying attention to the others on the stage its just bad form in my opinion.

But obviously its just my opinion, I've always seen Musume as a group phenomenon. Clearly there also is such a precedent for people to be waifu centered only with idols. But at the same time I have to call out some of that shit when its get so fragmented and disjointed from the whole, its just something that irks me a bit.
