Portals ain’t a thing. I’ve died briefly a couple of times, and saw absolutely nothing. If y’all want something: either get it in this life, or re-think what you want. This is the only shot we have, afaik. Good luck either way, man. Back to work for me, hope you figure out a rational choice that makes the best of what’s available. Personally I think that everyone’s options eventually narrow to nothing. If nearing such a point, I’m of the mind that you should damn well make certain your enemies hit that point before you do. To be clear, this ain’t me advocating senseless violence. That’s moronic. BUT if someone’s giving you unavoidable shit, give ‘em double — and get away with it, if possible. Extended periods of dealing with sociopaths has consequences, even when you come out on top. It’s the nature of things. They’re virulent sorts, even in defeat.
